Listen/Download -Iron Leg Radio Show Episode 21 – 186MB/256kbps
Greetings all.
I hope all is well in your part of the world.
It’s time once again for the Iron Leg Radio Show, episode 21!
When I dipped into the crates to put this one together, it kind of got away from me as I pulled out on groovy LA-related side after another, and the first set stretched out to 45 minutes!
I don’t think you’ll be complaining, since it’s packed with some of the best music of the 60s, with stops in garage punk, pop, folk rock and psychedelia.
After that, you get two shorter sets – one heavier, one lighter – that I think you’ll also dig.
I hope you like it all, and I’ll see you next week.
Peace
Larry

Make sure to read the comments which include more info.
looks like another great one–thanks, larry! tell me, do you think Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Tich would have been more successful with a better name for their band? i sure do. i know they had some success, but what dj would’ve wanted to recite that mouthful after playing their records?!
Indeed I do, at least here in the US.
I think that their catalog has a surprising amount of depth and is a lot heavier than some of their bigger hits would suggest.
and where do you stand on “my world fell down”? glen campbell lead vocal or not? people who know their pop a whole lot better’n me say so. i don’t hear it.
I vote yes. Working the high end of his range but if you listen to stuff like ‘Guess I’m Dumb’ you can hear it.
I wish someone could get their hands on the session logs for the Sagittarius LP, since there are clearly Boettcher tracks and others that were recorded without him.
